PetroMin XII was developed for preliminary rock characterization: input mineral percentages to get a quick overview of a rock's estimated mineral and chemical. It can be used in education and learning: students and educators can use it to understand how minerals combine to form rocks and see the resulting chemical compositions.
Load Library: Load additional mineral data. Petromin XII have already a built-in Library
View Library: Visualize the mineral library.
Clear Library: Remove all mineral data from the library.
Reset Built-in Library: Revert to the default mineral library.
Rock Name: Enter a name for your sample.
Add Mineral: Adds a new mineral entry to your sample.
Clear All Minerals: Remove all minerals currently added to the sample.
Porosity (%): Enter the porosity percentage of the rock.
Create Rock: Save the current mineral composition as a sample.
Export Rock: Export the created rock data.
Clear Rock: Clear the currently selected rock.
Load Rock: Load a previously saved rock.
Mineral Composition: This box displays the mineralogical breakdown of your rock.
Chemical Composition: This box shows the elemental and oxide composition of your rock.
Show in ppm: Check the "Show in ppm" box to display chemical compositions in parts per million.
Stored Rocks: This section displays a list of your saved rocks (maximum 20). You can click on a stored rock to select it.
